How the five days run

A simple route from Cochin into the hills and back through the backwaters.

    Day 1: Cochin pickup to Munnar

    Picked up from Cochin Airport or Ernakulam railway station and driven to Munnar, about 4 hours. Waterfalls and scenic spots on the way. Check in at the hotel, relax for the rest of the day, overnight stay at Munnar.

  2. 2

    Day 2: Munnar local sightseeing

    After breakfast, a full day of local sightseeing — Rose Garden, Photo Point, Honey Tree, Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point and Kundale Lake. In the afternoon drive to Rajamalai to spot the Nilgiri Tahr. Overnight stay at Munnar.

    Day 3: Munnar to Thekkady

    After breakfast check out and drive to Thekkady, about 4 hours. Check in and proceed for the Thekkady sightseeing tour, including the Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Boating at Periyar Lake, a spice plantation visit and elephant ride are optional, at extra cost. Overnight stay at Thekkady.

    Day 4: Thekkady to Alleppey

    After breakfast check out and drive to Alleppey. Hotel check in at 1:00 PM and the cruise starts. Paddy fields, local homes, old churches and temples along the way; an evening cruise ride is optional, at extra cost. Overnight stay at the Alleppey hotel.

Travel dates are 1 October 2026 to 28 February 2027, and the package rate is valid till 28 February 2027. Send us your preferred dates and we will confirm whether the hotels are open for them.
How many people is this price for?+
The package is built for 2 members sharing 01 Super Deluxe double bed room, at Rs 15,000 per person. If you are more or fewer, message us and we will work out the stay and cab accordingly.
Is lunch and dinner included?+
No. The meal plan is CP Plan, so only breakfast at the hotel is covered. Lunch and dinner are your own, and the driver can stop where you like.
Why does the cab AC not work in the hills?+
On hill area roads the AC does not work in the Dzire cab, which is usual on ghat sections. It works on the rest of the route.

Pickup point is Cochin and drop point is Cochin, so you reach Cochin on your own and the trip starts and ends there.
